I hear that Chimney Imp deck is a real powerhouse. </sarcasm> In all seriousness, what kind of decks do you like to play? If you're the type that likes to win as soon as possible, mono-blue probably isn't for you. You'll generally (but not always) do better with decks that fit your play style. Some popular decks in Standard at the moment are W/x Control, Goblin Bidding, Astral Slide, Elves, the dreaded Affinity, and (*choke gasp*) Mono-Black Control. Unfortunately, we don't play much Type II down at Casey's, though we REALLY SHOULD! *HINT HINT* However, other areas I'm sure have Type II tourneys quite often, if you're willing to drive.
