Round 2: Feature Match 1 _ Eric Hoffman Vs. Destan Hoots
Game 1:
Both players keep and Destan gets to play first. He lays Swamp and says go. Eric replies with Forest, Elf, go. Over the next few turns, Destan casts three Hymn to Tourach’s and a Wrench Mind. Eric spends his time casting the only card he has left - a River Boa. The lack of lands keeps Eric from casting anything more, but with Destan only casting a Drain Life for one and a Last Caress, Eric simply goes all the way with the Boa and Elf.

Game 2:
Destan again leads, again with just a swamp. Eric has just a Forest and passes back. Destan uses his second turn to Dark Ritual into a Duress, nabbing Incinerate, while seeing Blastoderm, another Incinerate, a Guerilla Tactics, a Wild Mongrel, and a Forest and Mountain. Destan then casts Wrench Mind. Eric chooses to discard Guerilla Tactics, aimed at Destan, and a Forest. Then on his turn, Eric plays Wild Mongrel. Destan casts yet another Wrench Mind, forcing Eric to ditch Incinerate and another forest. Eric then is stuck with just the Mongrel, which gets sacrificed to Destan’s Innocent Blood. Eric is forced to just sit there for four turns, passing, waiting to get a land. Destan Caresses Eric one Last time, before he gets a Duress and sees Eric’s double Blastoderm, Jackalope Herd hand. Eric finds his fourth land, and proceeds to cast three Blastoderms on the next three turns. Destan’s Skittering Horror isn’t enough to stop the ‘derms, and Eric wins 2-0.
