 Title: RUBatog
in preparation of the qualifier in Chicago I like to seriously analyze my decks.
part of this just talk about and looking at each card in the deck and
discovering its purposes. I've been thinking about playing psychatog for 2 weeks
now. I tried to build a blue black version but its just my style. then I saw
this deck at

and thought how the hell did that deck make 3rd place? I felt there were a lot
of different cards he could of used that would be better instead. for example,
look at the smothers, I think he originally had a UB version and splashed red at
the last moment and forgot the terminate even existed. It boggles my mind how he
got 3rd place but it also gives me hope. I'm thinking if I change some of his
cards for even better cards I definitely have hope of this tournament.
Also look at the main deck pyroclasm and look at his sideboard. he obviously
wanted to make a cunning wish sideboard using choices like dominate misdirection
sunder annul all okay sideboard cards but a little silly. an obvious replacement
for the shitty sideboard and the pyroclasms is one of favorite cards, Burning
wish. work some burning wishes in there and move the pyroclasms to the
sideboard. Burning wish also gives you room for nice sorceries in your sideboard
like earthquake, an extra upheaval, and game winners like threaten and washout.
Adding more color into the deck... those gushes got to go. they give you a nice
psychatog pump but getting them early game can be a hazard to your gameplay. I believe
Mike Pustilnik could of got first place in that tournament if he thought out his
deck a little more. after revising his deck and all of the top eight I came to
the conclusion of my little atog version.

I'll probably do a few changes till then but this is the bases of this deck.
hopefully the wishes will get me out of most holes. hopefully ill do better then
last year when I only had 5 minutes notice before I went and only beat one
person.... oh wait, that was a by. this time I'm a little bit more prepared for
